Are you interested in volunteering in our Speech Therapy Department?
Do you know somebody who is interested in volunteering his/her time to work as a speech therapist with children with disabilities in Belize City, Belize? The Inspiration Center (TIC) is looking for volunteers to work in our pediatric Speech Therapy Department for a period of one month or longer. Depending on level of experience, volunteers will work with our Speech Therapist and conduct evaluations, treat clients, create treatment plans and assist the Speech Therapist with treatment of the clients.
We are accepting applications from:
-Licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) with 1+ years of experience working in pediatric speech therapy
-CFY SLP (a Speech Language Pathologist who is completing his/her Clinical Fellowship Year)
-Students qualified to work as a SLP Assistant
Volunteers must be fluent in English. The Inspiration Center will assist volunteers in locating housing in Belize for the duration of their volunteer period.

The Inspiration Center is an NGO headquartered in Belize City, Belize. We are the only organization in Belize to offer holistic medical and health services to children (birth to 16 years old) with disabilities and their families. We currently have a waiting list for speech therapy of over 100 children. We are in critical need of volunteers who can help us provide treatment to the growing number of children who are in need of our services. Volunteers at TIC will work directly with the children coming to our Center for services.
