The Inspiration Center merges both the CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) and the Medical models

of care to provide holistic services to our clients:

The CBR model uses the CBR Matrix developed by the World Health Organization. The Inspiration Center uses this model to mainstream disability to provide empowerment, participation, and inclusion for persons with disabilities within local community development endeavors. A collaboration of local, regional, national and international resources, as well as communication and partnering across the business, NGO, private, and governmental sectors ensures development that is aware of and includes persons with disabilities.

Outpatient Services

Our outpatient rehabilitation center in Belize City provides the following services:

• Medical evaluation + hearing screenings
• Social work assessment and services including parent support groups
• Speech therapy assessment and services including Vital Stimulation, preschool Readiness groups, playgroups, telepractice

• Physical therapy assessment and services including Mind in Motion + play groups
